The Beacon Lodge Charitable Trust is an independent grant-making charity that wants to make a real difference to the lives of children, their families and carers within Greater London. We provide financial support in the form of grants to other registered charities which promote the care, safety and upbringing of children. We target our limited funds towards small registered, independent charitable organisations and not for profit companies with an annual income of under £200,000.  We are a small grant funding charitable trust with our average grant size being around £5,000 to successful applicants. Grants may be used to fund specific projects or can be used to meet ongoing expenses of the charity, which can include staff and rent costs.

Applications for grants will be once a year.  The number of projects which can be supported by Beacon Lodge is, of necessity, limited to the amount of funds available for distribution in any year.

New Applications for 2024 will open on the 31st January 2024 and close on the 15th March 2024.  Please note if we meet our threshold before the 15th March 2024 we may need to close the application period sooner. 

It is important to note that we can only consider charities that meet all of our criteria.  Evidence should be provided in your appliciation.
