SEEN provide a safe space to support those facing unplanned pregnancy and baby loss, and empower and nurture the community by delivering healthy relationships and sex education in local schools, community centres and a women’s prison.
Home-Start Sutton – 2025
Home-Start Sutton support vulnerable families with children under 5 by directly supporting the parents and offering a range of early help services and intervention. We support parents and carers who are often dealing with a combination of factors affecting their ability to create the environment and fundamental elements to support their child’s development.
First Touch – 2025
First Touch is the official charity of St George’s neonatal unit. First Touch funds state-of-the-art equipment and specialist staff training which are outside of the scope of NHS budgets, as well as a range of welfare initiatives to support babies and families during their stay on the unit.
Their Voice – 2025
Their Voice is a charity fighting human trafficking and modern slavery. We support men, women, and children by providing: Essential items of clothing, toiletries, baby products, children’s toys, and educational resources to restore dignity. Offering creative health workshops to promote emotional healing and survivors the tools to reclaim their lives.Raising awareness on the realities of modern slavery within the community.
Words Matter – 2025
Words Matter’s mission is to improve children’s mental and physical health and development by ending childhood verbal abuse, a silent epidemic that is growing. It affects 2 in 5 children and can cause profound and lifelong damage. We focus on research, raising awareness and collaborating with others to create lasting change to prevent it.
ClearVision Books – 2025
ClearVision runs a nation-wide postal lending library of children’s books specially adapted to include braille as well as the print and pictures, so that children learning braille can read with sighted parents, teachers and peers; and braille-reading parents and grandparents can share books with their sighted children.
CHaL – 2025
CHaL is a collaboration of six hospices caring for over 2,300 babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families. Our hospices support families through the most challenging times, helping them and their children to live the fullest life possible by providing expert nursing care and emotional and social support.
Home-Start Wandsworth – 2025
Home-Start Wandsworth provides tailored, practical and emotional support to vulnerable families with children under the age of five, so that they can give their children the best possible start in life. We work with families who may be struggling with poor mental or physical health, isolation, financial hardship and post-natal depression.
The Ivy Street Family Centre – 2025
The Ivy Street Family Centre provides a warm and welcoming space for parents, carers and pre-school children in inner city London, where children can play and learn, and parents and carers can socialise, find emotional and practical support and build community. A range of activities is on offer to suit everyone.
CARIS Families – 2025
CARIS Families provides holistic support to families living in homeless temporary accommodation hostels in Hackney and Camden in London. Our services include trauma-informed play schemes and school holiday trips for hostel-resident children, poverty relief work for families, and housing casework to expedite families’ journeys out of homelessness and support their transition into secure housing.
Home-Start Havering & Redbridge – 2025
Home-Start Havering & Redbridge is a charity dedicated to supporting families with young children through challenging times. Trained staff and volunteers offer practical and emotional help, visiting families at home to provide guidance, friendship, and encouragement, helping parents build confidence and create a safe, nurturing environment for their children to thrive.
Kids Kitchen – 2025
Kids Kitchen brings families together to cook affordable, healthy food from scratch in a fun, welcoming environment. Through hands-on sessions and take-home recipe bags, we support community connection, food confidence, and wellbeing. We empower parents and children to build skills, friendships, and healthier futures together.
Home-Start Ealing – 2025
Home-Start Ealing supports 40-50 vulnerable Ealing families with at least one child under 5. HSE matches families with a trained volunteer who can visit them in their home for 2 hours a week to help navigate life’s difficulties. We provide invaluable, non-judgemental, support and friendship, with hundreds of positive outcomes for families in the community.
Children’s Hospital Pyjamas – 2025
Children’s Hospital Pyjamas collect brand new pairs of pyjamas for children and young people, aged between new-born and 18 years old. The pyjamas are distributed to hospitals, hospices and women’s refuges throughout the UK. They are then given to children who are poorly or disadvantaged.
Wave Hub – 2024
Wave Hub (registered charity Wave Muswell Hill CIO) is a vibrant café and arts centre bringing people with and without learning disabilities together in a truly inclusive, warm atmosphere. It was established to promote social inclusion and raise public awareness of the issues faced by people with learning difficulties.

The Helping Disabilities Trust supports disabled children and young people in London, primarily through the free loan of specialised equipment and aids, such as full support swings, adapted trikes & sensory equipment, designed to improve their skills and enhance their lives.
Tov Charity – 2024
Tov charity recognizes the vital importance of mental health for the overall well-being of young children and their parents. We focus on supporting mothers and children who come from minority communities in Hackney and Haringey by organising support groups and workshops on mental health and stress management to help parents develop coping strategies, improve their mental well-being, and reduce social isolation by building social support networks.
Shining Stars – 2024
Today’s kids have more paths to success than ever, but they also deal with more challenges, more risks, and more dangers. Shining Stars has committed themselves to doing more for the community’s youth. Made With Care – 2024
The primary mission of Made with Care, founded in July 2020, is to offer vital assistance to women grappling with physical or mental health difficulties stemming from difficult pregnancy and post-natal depression, with a strong emphasis on preventing or alleviating poverty and financial hardship.

The Community Hub empowers disadvantaged women and girls in Hackney and Haringey, addressing challenges at each life stage. By providing essential skills and support, we help women overcome difficulties and emerge stronger, thereby enhancing the well-being and stability of their families and households.
