In October 2020, we approved 8 new grants:

Brightstars Autistic Club

£3,920 – towards the cost of the Sensory Art Room, autism movement therapy and the refurbishment for art sessions

Changing Faces

£13,711 – on condition of receiving other funding promised

Engine Room

£1,022.50 –Funding for Make Lunch holiday club for 25 children in Tottenham

Hackney Playbus

£10,000 –  Towards the salary of the Project Coordinator for delivering a mobile play service for children under five and their parents/carers in Hackney.

 Hornsey Parish Church

£14,328 – Towards core cost of running outreach programmes for children and families in Hornsey who live in most deprivation and are hardest to reach.

Settle

£25,000 – to fund a Programme Officer’s salary for 12 months to deliver 234 Programme hours directly to 35 vulnerable young people.

Spurgeons Young Carers

£16,583 – Funding for Birmingham Young Carers Bereavement Support Project to provide intensive support for up to 20 young carers over 12 months

Whizz Kidz

£15,750 – providing five disabled children with the right mobility equipment.

 Trussell Trust

£10,000.00 – Towards core activities of distributing food, in light of increased poverty among families caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

In May 2020, we approved 5 new grants:

Follow Your Dreams

£5,000.00 –   Towards a project to teach sign language to children with learning disabilities and their families to enhance their ability to communicate and understanding.

Prior’s Court

£10,000.00 – Towards the construction of a Health and Wellbeing Hub at a residential centre for children with the severe autism and complex learning disabilities

Speakers for Schools

£5,000.00 – towards bringing inspirational speakers into schools to inspire disadvantaged young people using virtual talks.

£10,000.00 – Towards core activities of distributing food, in light of increased poverty among families caused by the coronavirus pandemic.                                               

Westwood Play

£4,309.60 – To fund 12 creative online sessions in the 2020 school summer holidays to support families in the most deprived area of Sheffield
